From the PTO

Hello Bacon Families,                                                          py

How have we already reached Pumpkin Spice season?! (Apple spice if you’re me.) It’s hard to believe that this time last year our kids were only just starting to come back to school! Part time. In cohorts.  Now, here we are 8 (ish) weeks in and finding our stride.  It feels awesome.

I am super excited to tell you that the PTO has been given the green-light to plan a Trunk or Treat fundraiser for Bacon! The premise is simple: A bunch of Bacon parents/staff/families band together and deck out their trunks with Halloween decorations and candy (or other fun themes!) and the kids dress up in their costumes and meander from car to car, collecting candy at each stop!  So basically - trick or treating from trunk to trunk! The cost of the event for Bacon families is FREE! (Anyone who chooses to decorate a trunk is responsible for their own decorations & candy.) We are so thrilled to be able to give our students and their families this special treat. Some of our Bulldogs have never gotten to experience a school- sanctioned event!

If you would like to help donate items to fill our auction baskets, I have attached a flyer with that information. Thank you in advance for your generosity! It feels great to be able to fundraise as a community for our school again!

We look forward to seeing everyone in their costumes and feeling festive at the end of this month!

Sincerely,

Sabrina Barstow - PTO President
