I am originally from a tiny town in Kansas. I had the opportunity to spend a summer break living and working in Boulder, and that was it, I had to make Colorado my home! I met my now husband in Denver and we eventually made our way back to Northern Colorado where he was born and raised. We now have two awesome daughters that keep us very busy and extremely entertained.
I am a very proud and very loyal Kansas State Wildcat! GO CATS! I also have a Master's degree in Literacy from Leslie University.

I feel so fortunate to get to be a part of our students' educational journey. Watching them learn and process new and difficult skills is so rewarding and continues to drive my own passion for learning. I really enjoy kids, their original perspectives, creative minds and unique personalities.
From the moment I walked into Bacon Elementary I was overcome with the personality of this school. The staff, parents and students are incredibly welcoming, hard working and supportive. I have felt very at home here and so grateful to be a Bulldog!
