Integrated Services

Bacon Elementary School provides students with disabilities services under the Federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and Colorado's Exceptional Children's Education Act through two programs.

Multi-Categorical Program

The Multi-Categorical Program serves students with 14 educational disabilities through targeted special education and related services, as well as accommodations.  These services and accommodations are provided based on comprehensive evaluations and are articulated in an Individual Education Plan(IEP). 

Center Based Autism Program

Our Center Based Autism Program offers students special education and related services which are specialized for students needing intensive instruction.  This instruction is based in Applied Behavioral Analysis and Verbal Behavior.  Students who attend our Center Based Autism Program have research-based evidence of benefiting from this type of instruction.  These services and accommodations are provided based on comprehensive evaluations and are articulated in an Individual Education Plan(IEP).
