What a great fun time of year it is in Kindergarten! In literacy, we have worked on the letters c, o, a, d, g, l, m, h, & t and the sounds each make, in addition to working on our first several sight (red) words. During Writer’s Workshop, students are learning how to self-assess using a rubric. They are getting pretty awesome! In math, we have been working on recognizing and producing numbers 0-10 as well as creating ways to make 10 by utilizing a ten frame. We have started our Science seed unit and we’ll delve into all types of seeds and how they travel. Keep an eye out for the upcoming conference schedule. We are looking forward to meeting with you all!
