Please call the attendance line at 970-488-5310 or enter the absence in ParentVue.
*Parents/guardians please note you have up to 5 days to excuse an absence. After this time, the absence will remain unexcused.
*If a student has more than 9 absences through the year, a doctor’s note may be required to excuse the absence
The following reasons can be excused as prearranged or excused absences:
- Doctor visits
- Dentist visits
- Funerals
- Therapist Visits of any kind
- Serious Illness or death of immediate family
- Non-school organization competitive activities
- Weddings
- VISA Expiration/Renewal from Home Country
- Vacations (While strongly discouraged, such excuses should be prearranged with the school administration. If a student has poor attendance or poor academic performance, a principal may deny an excused absence for vacation purposes)
Absences reported to the school after 8 am might result in a unexcused absence phone call, text or email from the school. Attendance is taken first thing in the morning and we reach out to families regarding absences as soon as possible after school starts.
